Dear Alliance of World Scientists member,
Because global climate and environmental problems are increasing rapidly, we are calling for new members in the Alliance of World Scientists (AWS). The AWS is an independent, international organization that provides the collective international voice of thousands of scientists regarding the global climate crisis and environmental trends with the intent to turn accumulated knowledge into action. Our membership is currently 26,598 and our goal is hundreds to thousands of new members. We welcome scientists from any scientific discipline, including graduate students in the sciences. 

Please forward this email to your scientist friends and colleagues inviting them to join AWS by becoming a signatory on the paper that declared a climate emergency by visiting this link (see list of current signatories). Increasing the AWS membership will help support our efforts to inform the public and policymakers about environmental issues. AWS members will also be able to get involved in our Scientists’ Warning article series and other things. Together, we have already published more than 40 Scientists’ Warning journal articles. The environment is under siege and we need to work together.

Poiché i problemi climatici e ambientali globali stanno aumentando rapidamente, chiediamo nuovi membri nell’Alleanza degli scienziati mondiali (AWS). L’AWS è un’organizzazione internazionale indipendente che fornisce la voce collettiva internazionale di migliaia di scienziati riguardo alla crisi climatica globale e alle tendenze ambientali con l’intento di trasformare le conoscenze accumulate in azione. Il nostro numero di membri è attualmente 26.598 e il nostro obiettivo è centinaia o migliaia di nuovi membri. Diamo il benvenuto a scienziati di qualsiasi disciplina scientifica, compresi gli studenti laureati in scienze.

Inoltra questa email ai tuoi amici e colleghi scienziati invitandoli ad aderire ad AWS diventando firmatario del documento che ha dichiarato un'emergenza climatica visitando questo collegamento (vedi elenco degli attuali firmatari ). Aumentare il numero dei membri di AWS aiuterà a sostenere i nostri sforzi volti a informare il pubblico e i responsabili politici sulle questioni ambientali. I membri AWS potranno anche essere coinvolti nella nostra serie di articoli sugli avvisi degli scienziati e altre cose. Insieme, abbiamo già pubblicato più di 40 articoli sulla rivista Scientists' Warning . L’ambiente è sotto assedio e dobbiamo lavorare insieme.
